Who does a proper battery replacement for Fiats around here?
#1
So my Tahoe has been acting a bit strange over the last week or so and I'm starting to think the battery is finally giving up on me after about three years of service. It's a 2019 model and honestly with this heat we've been having lately, I'm not even surprised. The thing that's bothering me though is that the car has been struggling to start in the mornings, especially after sitting overnight in the basement parking, and I've noticed the interior lights dimming a little when I hit the unlock button from a distance. I live in Jumeirah Village Triangle and I really don't want to drive all the way to the dealer in Al Quoz just for a battery change, especially since I know they'll charge me an arm and a leg for something that should be relatively straightforward. The issue is I want to make sure whoever handles it actually knows what they're doing with the electrical system because I've heard these newer Chevrolets can be picky about voltage and if you don't get the right spec battery or don't reset the system properly, you can end up with all sorts of warning lights and error messages that take forever to clear. I've been asking around my neighbors and a couple of them mentioned a few places in the area but nobody seemed super confident about the quality of work. What I really need is to find top rated Chevrolet battery service in Jumeirah Village Triangle because I'd rather pay a bit extra for peace of mind than have to deal with a sloppy job that leaves me stranded somewhere or causes more problems down the line. I'm thinking of just driving around the area this weekend to see what's available but honestly I'd rather have a solid recommendation from someone who's actually been through this before. If any of you guys have had a good experience with a garage in or near JVT that knows how to handle a Tahoe or any GM vehicle properly, please do let me know because I'm getting a bit anxious about this and I need to get it sorted before the weekend road trip I have planned with the family.
